Analytic application chart resets selection when losing focus

Hi,

in an Analytic application (that has been running perfectly up to now) selecting a chart segment shows the associated data in a table.

Now, however, the chart selection is reset immediately when the chart widget loses its focus (by clicking in any other area of the screen) and with it consequently the corresponding table output.

My question is if the widget behaviour has been changed by SAP or could there be another (known?) reason for this changed behaviour?

Hi Ralf,

It might be that your charting is using a complete page at background, so if we click anywhere it is getting reset.

or you might be refreshing the chart by mistake in the code, that also can hit the reset of chart selection.

try to use a console.log() to debug which event is getting trigger when you click anywhere in the chart.

Hi,

I've noticed this same behavior and was wondering if it was a defect. I didn't use Analytic apps much before the latest update so I don't know how long the behavior has been there. I've submitted a ticket but haven't gotten a response yet. Did you happen to find an answer to this?
