Question Re: Supplier Self Services in Technology Q&A

Hey Matthias

You may have a couple of options

1. Implement SUS it has a supplier side login, integrates with SRM and S/4 systems

2. Implement ROS Module in SRM and tie to a webdynpro screen where the user can answer some questions and based on that trigger an approval and it would create a Supplier

3 IMplement Ariba it has a lot of the features you are looking for but is not adaptable to a specific business requirement and integrates with S/4

4. Create a Fiori based custom navigation tile that supports the functionality you need or combine with existing Portal application

My Best Recommendation would be creating a webdynpro based application and then adding it on the SAP portal or your intranet page so supplier can self-register. It is less costly and easily adaptable using Vendor and BP APIs and you can pretty much control all aspects of it.

Let me know if that helped

Regards

Vinita

Supplier Self Services

Dear community,

I would need some recommendations, best practices, experiences for the following:

We are looking for some kind of supplier self services:

existing supplier should have option to update supplier master data, which at the end update master data record in MDG.

potential supplier should be able to register using a self build supplier portal. After some validations in non-SAP systems, a new master data record should be created in MDG.

We already have SAP MDG in place together with a self build supplier portal.

Would be happy for any kind of idea and experience exchange

Best regards

Matthias.
