can i disable webdynpro program ?

Hi Team,

i need to test scenario if the user clicks on link on webpage , it should not triggered any action , that mean i need to delete i view and webdynpro program in backgroudnd. before delete i need to disable the view and program temporarily in Quality system .

please let me know how can i deactivate/disable webdynpro temporarily

You can deactivate the WDA in transaction SICF....but that is overall (ie. no one has access). If you want to do this "per user" from a link, I would suggest you not do that at all.....poor UI design to have a link shown to the user that they actually can't do anything with. If you want to check their authorization to the application, there are several other ways to handle this.

Thanks for your reply, my actual requirements is to remove the link from web page and delete all the related technical stuff in backend.

i want to implement this process step by step, because even after removing the link from web page , if any user click the link from the saved (favorites) page it should not trigger the logic in background.

so before deleting the program i want to temporarily disable program and test how it is behaving,

so can you please explain how can i achieve this using SICF tcode.

one more question , after deleting the link from web page and related WDA and views , if the user clicks on link )from previosly saved page ) can throw the dump?
