Question Re: Using the Kapsel plugins with Cloud Foundry Mobile Services in Technology Q&A

I have found the source of the problem. I was using cordova@10 but the plugins only support cordova@9. I have remade the project and reinstalled the plugins and it all appears to work now. Additionally, I specified all plugin dependencies in the `cordova plugin add` command so that it installed them all together.

Hi,

I am attempting the build a hybrid application which uses the Cloud Foundry Mobile Services, and the Kapsel plugins. As Cloud Build in CF does not support hybrid applications I am attempting to build the application myself using cordova etc.

I have downloaded the kapsel plugins (latest versions) from the SAP download centre, but whenever I try to install the plugins I am presented with an error such as the one below. I've tried various cordova CLI flags but unfortunately they don't fix my problem and usually introduce problems of their own. I understand that it is because these particular modules are not in the public npm repository (I have also tried the sap npm repository).

Does anyone know how I can get around this without resorting to the old Neo Cloud Build?

Many thanks

Failed to install 'kapsel-plugin-logon': CordovaError: Failed to fetch plugin @sap/kapsel-plugin-ui5@4.4.3 via registry.
Probably this is either a connection problem, or plugin spec is incorrect.
Check your connection and plugin name/version/URL.

EDIT: I should have also added that I tried to use the "SAP Repositories Management" too, but that had exactly the same problem as above
