when I try to set up EWA in the Solution Manager, I get this error message
How can I solve this issue ?

Hello Tatjana,

did you finalize the mandatory configuration in SOLMAN_SETUP? Especially the taks about the support hub connectivitiy and the SLD->LMDB setup needs to be performed.

After the mandatory configuration the relevant managed system setup needs to be performed. The creation of read- and back rfc destination is necessary to ensure the EWA data transfer. Next to this the SDCCN configuration is a prerequisite for the EWA transfer. Therefore a maintenance task need to be scheduled - the target destination needs to point to the SAP Solution Manager system thru the back RFC.

The Business Key Figures data are now available, but the Status of Settings is displayed in red.

How can I resolve this issue ?

Could you share the error further more details? with this screen, we can't find the information. just refer the SAP note 2282310

Thank you very much.

This issue occurs in Configuration SAP Early Watch Reports in Step: Business Process Analysis. Then when I select "Adjust Settings" and confirm with yes the message "Do you want to copy settings from managed system to SAP Solution Manager?"
Here I get this error message:

Settings in this step and in the managed system don't match; data collection can't be started.

What is a version of ST, ST-PI, ST-A/PI components of your solman and corresponding managed system?

Thanks for the updates.

I checked with some systems and found the same error appearing starting from ST-PI740 12, ST-A/PI01T_731 3 in the managed system.

However, the EWA BKF data is fine and works correctly for those systems. Systems with older version of the aforementioned components work fine in regards to this functionality of adjusting settings in solman.

I would suggest to open a message for the issue for SV-SMG-SER-EWA.
