Hi there,

this C4C problem has been bothering me for long time.

The fact is that we can only debug in PDI using developer user. But developer user can do far less functions than admin user. For example , developer user can not create a sales quote and submit it. On the other hand the admin user can not debug in PDI. Actually the admin user is even not allowed in PDI at all. It seems that the two users are something like mutual exclusion.

I 'm wondering how to get a user which can do not only the (most of) functions in UI but also debugging in PDI.

Best wishes

Peter

Hi Peter,

Though you cannot login to SDK using admin user, you can enable debugging for admin user. In order to do so, go to administration -> Options and settings. In SAP- General section, navigate to tab "Debugging and Tracing". Tick mark the checkbox for "Enable for business user" and specify the user for which you want to debug your solution. With this, breakpoints in your solution will be triggered for the user which you have set above.

For further info, please refer to video in blog - https://blogs.sap.com/2020/01/16/part-8-debugging-your-solution/

Thanks,

Gayatri
