Tool for testing inbound ABAP proxy

In old blogs and documentation I saw there was I tool for testing ABAP proxies which was report SPRX_TEST_INBOUND, but in my system I cannot find this report. I run Netweaver 7.0 EHP1 SP07. Is it deprecated? Is there any replacement?

I am aware of the possibility to test just from SPROXY transaction via F8, but I seek for more standalone tool which allows creating variants for testing.

1. You can create variants on SPROXY as well 🙂

2. SoapUI is one of the tools that you can try.

Could you please elaborate more on both points? How to create variant of inbound proxy? Now I should dig deep in SE80 every time I want to test my proxy, I want to do it faster.

Thanks, Sandra. But it is not quite clear which cases is this note about? When smb test proxy in case of error payload is not saved?

Ok, got it about SoapUI, I was able to do this, but the question about variants is still pending

I don't know. It's just that I saw this note, having a program named SPRX_TEST_INBOUND_UPLD. Almost the same name. That's the reason of my comment.

I stated in the question that I know about this possibility, but I want a standalone tool, without SE80. Do you know the exact name of the program which run these tests?
