Fiori Elements - Value Help on Filter

Hi,

I am on SAP UI5 version 1.44.15.

How to get a search help/value help similar to ABAP in Fiori Elements application?

I've tried adding association in the CDS to the master table and added the @Consumption.valueHelp: '_t001':

....
@EndUserText.label: 'xxx'
@OData.publish: true
define view xxxxx
  as select from ekko as pohdr
  association [0..1] to t001 as _t001 on $projection.bukrs = _t001.bukrs
{
      @UI: {
        selectionField.position: 10,
        lineItem.position: 10
      }
      @EndUserText.label: 'Company Code'
      @Consumption.valueHelp: '_t001'
  key bukrs,
.....

But when I press F4 in the Fiori Elements application, it still show the general value help dialog box.

Before going further you should think about an upgrade: Upcoming End of Maintenance for SAPUI5 1.44 / SAP Fiori FES 3.0

it works fine in 1.44 as well.

First check if the are exposing the association, you need to expose it as a property in the CDS view and see if your metadata is having the annotations required for the value help. If yes, then in the UI5 app(list report template) make sure you are fetching the annotations.

Since I use RDS to expose the OData, seems like I need to re-generate the SEGW service.
