BusinessObjects Query builder

List all the Public folders(including Subfolders) and which UserGroups has access to those folders/subfolders.

In CMC->Folders-> [choose folder] ->User Security-> [choose UserGroup] ->View Security. This provides the Principal and Objects(Folder) to which the access is enabled. Can you assist to obtain this information in Query Builder? Thanks.

You may be able to used the CMS DB universe CMS Data Access Driver instead. You can query the Principal Name, Principal Kind and Access Level with Universe Objects provided in Folder InfoObjects - Security.

You can't get this information from QueryBuilder - it doesn't include security information.

You would either have to use the universe that Thomas mentions (available for, I believe, 4.2 SP3 and newer), write code using either the .NET or Java SDK, or purchase a third-party tool that will give you this information.

We're using 4.1 so perhaps that only route is Java SDK. Thanks all.
