SAP Analytics Cloud - Date Range slider

Hello,

Can anyone help with the Date Range slider issue we are experiencing?

We are trying to use the Calendar Day Date Range slider to control the story charts and tables, however whether we chose Fixed or Dynamic, it only allows for data within 1 single year (year 2018).

We know that there is data for multiple years, because when removing the Date Range slider, the charts update and show data for those years – no filters have been applied.

The model is using a Live Data Connection, from BW.

Below are a few screenshots to demonstrate the issue with the Date Range slider:

Figure 1 – shows the chart without any input controls or filters. We have data for multiple years: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022

Figure 2 – shows the chart with the Date Range slider, where only 2018 appears:

Figure 3 – shows the same chart where the Data Range slider has been replaced with a page input control, and all the years re-appear:

Thank you,

Igli

Hello Igli,

in BW, what are the InfoObjects that you use for the Calendar Year / Calendar Day ?

Regards

Ingo Hilgefort, SAP

Hi Ingo,

Yes, we do see data for multiple years (screenshot included). However, the BW box is not up to date. The current version is: BW 7.51 SP02

Thanks,

Igli
