Set the classpath for more than the database?

Hi there, here's an interesting question as I start to get my arms around IDM 8.

In version 7, I could go into tools / options in the MMC to add additional JDBC JARs so that I could use other databases or Java extensions in general. It's not clear to me where this happens in IDM 8.

Hi Matt,

luckily not in each dispatcher manually. 🙂

In the dispatcherutil, menu Tools, Settings.

This is then written in the usr\sap\IdM\Identity Center\dispatcherutil.config file. I've installed a new dispatcher this year, the jar files got taken over (I don't need them there, but well it worked).

Yet, for all existing ones: I think either add them manually in dispatcherutil and the dispatchers or try putting the jar's/classes in the settings and then re-install them.

Here, I modified the dispatcher.prop file and added my JDBC driver:

The only downside is to think to change it again in case you regenerate you dispatcher scripts.

I use this to connect HANA databases.

Awww man... I'm building a custom Java class for my current project and trying to get the classpath right in v8 and I came across this post. Brought back memories of awesome co-workers past. Miss working with you two, clo.mtz and matt.pollicove.
