Business Objects Dynamic Tabs

I am a consultant with a large customer that is considering Business Objects for report/visualizations. One feature that we are curious about is the ability to dynamically Hide/Show tabs in a report based on the data coming in OR dynamically create/generate tabs based on data coming in. For instance, I have multiple years worth of data and create a tab for each year that is represented in the data....

Will the tool do this? I see quite a few questions on this out on the web and the answer was "No"...but most of the answers are pretty old so I'm curious to know if this functionality was ever added in an upgrade or sp. Thanks!

As you haven't mentioned the actual tool/report type you are asking about, I used your personal tags to deduct it is webi, so I fixed your primary tag.

Please select more careful next time and be more specific about which particular product you're asking, as BI platform (BO) has several to choose from. (webi, crystal, 3 types of dashboards, explorer, AO, LO )....

If you are asking while viewing the report,is it possible to hide the tab which contains no data in it? I don't think that is possible.

I'm thinking as the report is pulling the data and being displayed...dynamically generate the tabs base on the data it's pulled.
