Hi all,

I have an urgent issue. please help.

When i started the transaction STMS_IMPORT, the following error message is appearing.

I searched in net and found out that there may be wrong path definitions in AL11.When i checked the path of DIR_TRANS in AL11 in both Development and Quality (Default value,current value,profile value) are like this : \\hostname\sapmnt\trans.

But in Production, the values are like this;

Default value :\\hostname\sapmant\trans

profile value : D:\usr\sap\trans

current value : D:\usr\sap\trans

Also i checked in RZ10, the value of DIR_TRANS is D:\usr\sap\trans.

So what should i do, should i change the value of DIR_TRANS in PRD to \\hostname\sapmnt\trans ???

Kindly reply as our users are unable to release transport request.....

hello Praveen, When was this last working? Have you performed the various checks option available in STMS and STMS_IMPORT..? Regards, Vicky

Have you tried the various check options to figure out what is the error. Please do the same.

Hi Praveen,

You need to goto the directory D:/usr/sap/trans/bin directory and you should look for the configuration files.

DOMAIN.CFG

TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL

I think the configuration files are missing.

Hi Praveen,

Can you check if SAPServiceSID user is not locked or password expire?

It says parameter missing. Click on the question mark icon present in the error screen to get more details..

Hi all,

Yesterday night we restarted the server. After that when we trying STMS_IMPORT, the error message was not there. Now it is working fine. Is anyone has any idea how the error message disappeared?

Also in one scn post i have seen that "just reboot the server". As the first step only i had done that. Anyway it is working now.
