Workflow inconsistent behavior in Roles Assignment on Task

Hi,

While i am configuring Standard Workflow of Plant Maintenance Notification, i am assigning roles in different notification types.

I have assigned the Users and Workflow Task in PFCG as in below screenshot

Same is done in other roles too.

Now, the workflow is working fine in few conditions while its going in error mode in rest of the conditions. I have checked every setting and they're the same as those in which workflow is working. Dont know why its not being triggered in other conditions can you please help?

Help required.

In the Workflow log, are you able to see any agent?

yes i can see the agent in workflow log. It seems there is some error in roles assignment. Because if i assign the standard rule on the same conditions it starts working.

Please help.

Hello,

All that log shows is that the workflow went into error. Have a look inside the workflow log (SWI1, Step History) to see exactly which step had an error and what that error was.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for your response to my query. I checked the error. It shows me error as "Error processing node etc etc" and then other error is error found in expression "role-name" "

i dont know why there is inconsistency in system's behavior. Few roles are working fine while others are going in error mode.

Hello,

Please post the actual error! Also make sure you are seeing all errors by doing Goto > Show All Errors (or something like that).

Solved!

Roles assigned were not in proper case in workflow task, which caused an error in reading the workflow.

Its a really small error but its effect was huge.
