How to write "Repeat Members" code/function in Design Studio script

Hi Experts,

We are trying to find a way to write the code for “Repeat members” function as seen in Analysis Office in Design Studio’s script, would like to check if anyone know how this code/function can be written in Design Studio.

Without repeat members:

With repeat members: texts that are not displayed because they occur several times in a column or row(1^st screenshot) are repeated in each cell

Hi Michelle,

I assume you are referring to a Crosstab component, in which case you can set the Display Repeated Texts property to true as shown below:

Hi Mustafa,

Yes, that's the Crosstab component.

However, in this case, we are creating an ad-hoc template in Design Studio where it takes HANA query as a parameter, therefore "Display Repeated Text" is not visible to us because there will not be any data sources loaded in the template until the moment we run the dashboard.

I am not sure if there is any other way to do this except writing the code to for "Repeat Members" function in DS.

Hi Michelle,

That's very unusual. I just tried the ad-hoc template and can still see the Display Repeated Text property even when the crosstab data source is not loaded, as shown in the screenshot below:

What version of Design Studio are you running? My example is running on DS 1.4 SP02.

I am running on DS1.3 SP01. I guess this function is available DS1.4?
