Hi ,

SAP experts team and community members

I would like to develop mobile application using cloud platform for Android / IOS .I followed two docs

those are totally outdated .Tools that is used in that DOCS is deprecated .The git hub code is no more compatible with latest technology. I spend around 5 days in developing apps using these DOCS but didn't success .I used all deprecated tools and technology(Which is required to complete these docs) but they are not working any more .I got very disappointed with that old docs .I could't find any good documents with latest technology of SAP HANA on SAPUI5 and mobile technology e.t.c. which followed latest technology and tools .

Can some body provide link(s) for docs , video e.t.c. that must use new technology and tools and tells about deployment of app on naive platform not on web ?

You have linked to the same document twice, and as far as I know it's certainly not "totally deprecated". The screens used may now have a different theme, but apart from that it should work just fine.

Can you maybe point out what specific issues you encountered?

A better starting point may be the End-to-End development scenario by Jens Glander at . It is last updated this September so it should be perfectly valid

Anyway, to answer your question, have you taken a look at SAP HANA Cloud Documentation already?

This contains the most up-to-date information about SAP HANA Cloud Platform development, as well as SAP HCP Mobile Services for developing and deploying mobile applications

You can check my old questions .

I was having lots of problem like tools problem like .

1. Eclipse now generating one more files called appcompat_v7 for android.

2. The server they have used is neo-sdk1.58.8.1 latest sdk doesn't compatible with old code.

3. Creating application via SMP Admin portal the instances they have cretaed is deprecated.

4. Server is not running properly due to old version .

5. Latest HTML5 SAPUI have around 100MB of source files called resources but they were not there.

You should check about SAP HANA Cloud Platform Mobile Services (HCPms) , its available now, you can subscribe it and start develop mobile apps.

For developing UI5/Fiori based apps, SAP has released browser based IDE called as SAP Web IDE. SAP Web IDE Developer Guide It lets you to develop, design,build and deploy Fiori like apps on SAPUI5.

Now, you can develop hybrid apps (based on cordova framework) using the Web IDE.You are free to add any cordova plugins as per your requirement to access device's native functionality. SAP Web IDE, Hybrid App Toolkit Add-on enables developers to create and deploy hybrid apps (also known as Cordova or Kapsel apps) using Apache Cordova and the SAP Mobile Platform SDK.

Can you add links to download trial version of SAP Mobile Platform SDK 3.0 SP## where ##=04 , 05 , 06 ?

The links which i come across is broken .

Hi JK ,

I chat with representative person . He said that i am for this purpose . I am only dealing for sales .Talk to technical representatives .

Whenever i open A- Z Index | SAP Support Portal then it asks for UID and password . I tried by entering my authenticity it gives error message i couldn't able to login to the server .I am looking for trial version of SDK .

You have to login with S-user id and password (if you have). Generally, your company's BASIS administrator must be having one and can help you on this.

As per my knowledge ,SMP 3.0 Trial SDK sp05 used to be available at least till 24th December from SAP Store. Seems the link is broken now .

Nevertheless we can get in touch with SAP Store admin via email store.admin@sap.com

If this is the case then why technical team of SAP HANA is not fixing those links ?If you have any working URL with sp04/05 then you can share with us. Yesterday also SP03 link was not working then one of your sales representative given that , that works fine appreciate to him.

The URL i have / got from SAP Store is only valid for 48 hours and would expire after that. Also i guess the team might be on a holiday to check and fix this. (most of the employees might have holidays during Christmas )

I would suggest to drop an email to the team .

The download link i got from SAP Store on Dec 24th was expired now. An email was then sent immediately with the download link, which eventually would nt work (since it is only valid for 48 hrs).

How did you get that link . I couldn't find any way to get link .Even though i send an mail to store.admin@sap.com they didn't send any mail back .Till now didn't find any solution.
