customize Std Extractor - 0FI_GL_10

Hi Experts

I wanted to customize standard extractor - 0FI_GL_10 so that I can check field for Transaction type & Trading partner..

I can not see this both field in PSA in BW and so wanted to check in ECC why it is not pulling in BW..

I am not expert in BW so need your help!! thanks!!

Hi,

First you need to check at ECC system, T code RSA3.

Use your data source 0FI_GL_10 and execute it.

see there whether its pulling data or not.

if not then based on GL account, ask FI team about teh same.

Thanks for your response..

Yes I can see in RSA3 it has both Transaction type and trading partner field..

Trading partner have values in RSA3 but i cannot see same value in PSA

As per my original post, where I was not able to see Trading partner /Trasaction type in PSA, now i have checked the option in Info Package field and then i see field in PSA but after fresh loading data from ECC -> BW I can't see the Trading partner value which I see in RSA3 ..

What am i doing wrong ?

Hi,

at ECC side, T code - RSA6, select your data source and double click.

for trad partner/trans type - Hide option selected or not. if selected then unselect it.

Again replicate data source into bw side and activate it.

later you can reload the data and check it.

Hi,

Did you do any changes to the extractor? Try to replicate the DS and see if it brings the data.

Check in table FAGLFLEXT with the values what you are seeing in RSA3 and make sure there is no restriction in the load.

I followed the above steps but still can not see Trading partner value in PSA which I can see in RSA3

Also while checking FAGLFLEXT table it is showing no data

se11 -> FAGLFLEXT -> Display -> Content .. no data

No changes to Std extractor yet, i replicate DS ..

while checking FAGLFLEXT table it is showing no data

I can see data in FAGLFLEXT table , actually i was looking at wrong client..

Hi,

Above table you need to check at ECC system.

other wise, run your data source at RSA3.

download data into excel, take 2 gl accounts and take fi team help to find table for trading partner and trans type.

if your seeing data ar ECC RSA3 Then same data can viewd at psa once load was done.

at which server your facing this problem.

Lets focus on Trading partner field

1)2 Days before the trading partner values were blank in ECC and I was loading data from ECC->BW->BPC where every thing is perfect because Trail balance = 0 in BPC.

2)FI team added Trading partner entries and so I can see Trading partner value in RSA3.

3)When I checked in PSA in BW i can not see Trading partner field so I checked the option in the Infopackage and then I can see tradign partner field in PSA

4)Then I loaded data from ECC -> BW but I can not see Trading partner value in BW PSA

5)I posted on scn and followed your steps but still can not see Trading partner value in BW PSA

1. Have you loaded data into PSA by triggering info pack?

2. At info pack what you selected? selecting at info pack nothing will useful.

3. At Bw PSA, you are missing data for trading partner field or Field it self missing?

Again do the below steps.

if your trading part field was not hided at ECC side RSA6, its fine.

Replicate ecc data source into bw side

activate data source in bw.

delete PSA data if your facing problem at DEV BW only.

Again run bw info pack

once info pack was succeed then you can psa data.

There is no bw consultant at your work location?

Hi,

As said earlier, try to replicate the Datasource and test a full load for a particular period to see if it is bringing the records for the trading partner.

It was my simple mistake, I did not check PSA data completely the Trading partner were present in other packets which i missed thanks!!

Good to know, the trading partner and the transaction types are direct mappings and by default it will be extracted until unless you make changes.

Yes, the only thing we have to do is select field in Data Source so that you can see that coloumn(field) in PSA..
