MDG material workflow throws 500 internal error

Hello SAP Experts,

I am facing a problem with the workflow in MDG material. The workflow was working fine.

One of the decision table entries for MAT01 was deleted.

So i re-entered the decision table value and now it is throwing SAP Internal server error.

changes are made to user agent group decision table.

Can any one please give hints.

Hi,

It is normal to show 500 internal error while you run NWBC and cannot exactly know the reason until we verify ST22 for the dump, you can please see the reasons for the error.

possible reasons, could be the numbering of the steps, which might not get in sync with other two decision tables.

Thank you for the response. The st22 dump is below.

I am using portal to run and not NWBC.

Yes, i think its numbering of steps which is the error but i am displaying warning when i am trying to modify the DT steps and activate.

The same steps are existing for the MAT02 also , but it works fine..

The link refers to SAP Portfolio and Project Management, whereas i am looking for MDG decision table values for MAT01.

Please provide if anything related to MDG.

Hi, Did you try to import the Excel sheet with into Decision tables?? instead of manually maintaining. please elaborate the steps which leads to this dump.

No, I did not import the excel sheet into decision tables. the warning messages , i just copied from brf+ into excel ans pasted here.

Now i am not editing the MAT01 DT, i created a new custom Change request 'ZMAT01' and trying to edit this one. Even in this, i try to activate and i am getting warning messages as below.

the ST22 dump continues due to above reasons.

please suggest hints for resolving this issue.

Hi, I too faced similar error, I did was delete and re-create them.

I happens when my previous Decision tables had more table columns and later when I try too add new CR to the decision tables and the previous old values of these columns could not be refreshed.

Check the warning msg, it tells about CR rejection reasons.

Yes, even i observed that few columns were missing.

What could be the reason behind this and how can we resolved this. I went to the table settings at the BRF plus, but in table setting i did not have the options to add these hidden columns.

The warnings in DT_SINGLE_VAL_MAT01 say

Domain values may not be unique . See table USMD202C(/211C/212C)_SSW

Any other hints will be appreciated?

What I did was to delete Decision tables data and upload/ create them again, so that the previous columns structure & values in buffer are erased.

It worked for me.

Thank you very much for everyone for the responses.

I was able to resolve the issue.

The actual problem was with the MDG structure which was incorrect . We have enhanced our Data model with new attributes. made the SMT mapping correctly.

1. Appended a incorrect struture in 'MDG_BS_MAT_S_MARA_UI'. We corrected this struture with corect Component type as 'MDG_BS_MAT_FLDSTAT'.

2. re created the DT values in all the 3 decision tables of the mat01 and activated .

after this the UI and worklfow both are working fine.
