I am In Display and Maintain System Details:

I want to add some information for this installation.

I get this massage:

Unable to update system Software components. Please, maintain a Usage types first.

I have solman 7.10 install.

Any advice

Hi Reza,

Run LMDB tcode and check your system if is proper maintained.

I have don it befor and Execute Verification Check (Enforced, Synchronous) is green.

My problem is when I want add some information in Maintain System Details sap support portal.

Hi Ejersbo,

Goto your sld administration screen by accessing url http://fullyqualifiedhostname:8000/sld, then select administration, technical systems, select all technical systems, check whether your managed system is shown there and got to the last tab where the installed product instance will be shown.

Next, try to update the latest CR content and CIM model because they will update the software components and product systems types.

I had downlod ehp6 for this installation from LMDB.

Hi Kartik.

I have the latest CR and CIM in this solman. My installation in a part of sld and lmdb.

The problem is I have no option in www.service.sap.com to chose Usage Types.

SAP CR Content Version (sld/active): SAP_CR 9.5 (produced 06/26/2013)

Have you tried forcing an upload from SolMan to the support portal on the first page of your Technical system?

If this forced upload option doesn't work, then I am going to guess you have an RFC issue to the support portal that is preventing the system from being updated properly.

Another thought, does the system show up under a ERP installation # or a different #?

Hello all of you and thanks for good advice.

At last the problem get solved by removeing instalation from LMDB and sync. with SLD. and the

configuration in LMDB.

Added product version and mark the Software Component Versions .

Reagan was Wright the Software Component Versions of Selected Product Instance was not markt.
