MDM Syndicator XML format

Hi,

I am just exploring is it possible to export data from Syndicator in an XML format. I am kinda new to syndicator and have checked that there are only .txt export format supported by default and then there are some NWDS plugins that can do the job.

How can we export images and blob out of the repository using syndicator?

Hi Tarun,

Yes you can export data from Syndicator in an XML format.

To achieve this, you will require .xsd file to create your XML map.

Go to File-->New-->Type , select type as XML schema file.

Load the XML schema file (.xsd file) stored in your system having the fields present in your source system.

Map the source fields to the destination fields. Now save this map.

Go to file->Open->select the map you created.

Select the records you want to syndicate and store locally in your system in XML file, and click on Syndicate.

This way you will be able to get XML file of your MDM records. Kindly revert for any queries.

Hi Tarun,

You can export the file in xml format from syndicator, all you need to do is, open the syndicator. goto file-->new-->choose type as xml schema, declare the XML schema name you have created in console and do appropriate mappings.

Images can be exported, you need to choose the table images in source table tab and do appropriate mappings, then you can manually syndicate images. Hope this information is helpful..

Hi Tarun,

It is very much possible to syndicate xml file from MDM syndicator. All you need to do is click on File option from Syndicator Meny bar --> select New. You will see a pop-window as in below screenshot. Select appropriate option and load schema to get output in xml format.

Dear Tarun,

You can syndicate the data via syndicator but you need to do some configuration before syndication.

1.create XML schema and load it console.

2.create a port for it.

3.do syndication Mappings using the XML schema and save them.

then you are ready for syndication,you can refere the console and syndicator reference guid.
