PIDX format messages

Hello All,

Our requirement is to connect to B2B scenarios with a PIDX message. ECC >> PI >> B2B (only accept PIDX formats).

Initially we planned to get the PIDX SWCV into ESR and work with the standard mappings that are provided.

When we were to import the same, we got a Message from SAP that PIDX format has some problem and cannot be downloaded from SMP.

Hence this plan went on a hold.

Can someone suggest a work around for this? Has someone implemented PIDX with a SWCV?

Need inputs.

Yo can use RNIF adapter for this requirement..

You can use the RNIF adapter for B2B.

Hi Aparna,

B2B Means the communication between two Organizations or parties

A2A - application 2 application:

the Integration is done with in the same landscape with in the same company.

if you have 2 systems in your company: ERP & HR system. And you want to send data from ERP to HR system.

When we are dealing a scenario which is A2A we will use Service with out paty.

B2B - business 2 business:

if there are 2 companies, and they have a different systems, which need to be integrated. For Ex: your client is using SAP ECC and their customer is having some other technology. they want to integrate each Appications.

the integration is done one business partner to another business partner.

When we are dealing a scenario which is B2B we will use Serivce with party.

Hi Krishna,

Can you please tell how can we implement PIDX scenarios in this case sincce the Standard PIDX content is not available in SAP Service MarketPlace.

Did you find the solution to this problem?

We're facing something similar. ECC - Middleware - Vendor

Vendor uses PIDX and sends the code to the Middle that sends to ECC. However, ECC does not recognize PIDX's. And we don't have a table to compare the numbers and get to the MATNR.

Losing faith!
