Hello,

We are trying to use the 'Quick Create' option so that we can create a new object without navigating away from the current screen (OWL). The 'Quick Create' should be launched on click of a New button. But we are not able to achieve that. The 'Quick Create' screen is appearing but the current OWL screen is becoming invisible (it is being launched as a new window). So we are not able to achieve the same behaviour as in the standard SAP screens, where clicking on the 'New' button opens the 'Quick Create' as a popup.

Here is a screenshot of our OBN.

Can anyone suggest what could have gone wrong?

Regards

Ajay

Are you trying to do these things for your custom BO and custom screens? If so you can create screens of your custom BO by selecting "screen scenario with Thing based navigation" option. This will create the Quick Create automatically. Moreover, you can take that as a reference and create your Quick Create screen as well.

Also dont use "New Window" as the navigation style. Use "In Place" instead.
