Error 14 in work process SM50

Hi Expert,

I have installed a fresh ECC6.0 EHP5 system but in SM50 screen, work process is showing err 14 .

I have wondering if this has any impact on system . Please Help.

Hi Deepak,

It means that the work process has been died for 14 times since the application server startup. There's no impact on the system, but you should check the reason why the process died for 14 times.

Please note that the number of error counter will be reset as soon as you restart the application server.

Hi Deepak,

Orkun is right. To have a clear idea about it, The error may be caused by a work process being cancelled by a error in a transaction code or program.If you see the Trace file you will get an idea why the error has occurred.

Hi Deepak,

It relates to work process number 4 it seems.

Check for errors in SM21 system log

Please go to your work directory and examine the contents of dev_w0

log file. This willl contain details of the error that occured in this work process.

it clearly indicates that the Workprocess come across the Shutdown of workprocess 14 times since last startup.

and again you can go to st11 and check the log file dev_W0 in there and look for word error

and check there .

and please paste the logs here if you want more help
