Thanks for the reply.

If I'm to choose between application-based method (i.e DB2 SAMP - system automation multiplatform) as opposed to VMware DR solution, Which one would the experts choose and on what basis?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question. It maybe worth posting it on DB2 LUW forum as well.

Appreciate any hint ... Thx

Rgds,

Sheikh

Hi Experts,

I have ERP 6.0 Including EhP5 and DB2 LUW. I'm planning for HADR solution.

I have Vsphere5 EXSi 5. Does SAP support VMware SRM Vspere replication solution for HADR?

If yes, what's the requirement? If no, what's the alternatives?

Thanking you in advance ...

Rgds,

Sheikh

SAP supports VMware Site Recovery Manager. But it offers several data replication methods, and it's up to you which method you use. The "vSphere Replication" works without storage hardware replication mechanisms, but it is an asynchronous replication mechanism, therefore it might not meet your business needs. Take a look at all options VMware Site Recovery Manager has to offer and thoroughly consider which one meets your needs best.
