Basic tuning -

Ignoring the issue of modeling and query design, these are the basic tools to start with.

Here's the order I would tackle things -

Compression

InfoCube Aggregates

Additional Indexes - on ODS, Dim and Master Data tables

Additional indexes require an understanding of how the queries are run and to ability to understand SQL execution plans.
