Active sender FTP Channel not processing files in source folder

We got an issue with our PI system, that the files were not picked up and processed by the FTP channel from source folder.

Following were observed during the issue occurrence

Channel was in green (up and running)
FTP was reachable
Files were present and readable

While pinging the channel we found that all the files that were placed in the folder was readable and the entire list of readable files were shown in the ping response pop-up.

On restarting the channel, the files were processed and there were no issues. We observed for a couple of times but timing not being regular also on different FTP channel.

Can any one please help us with this of what could be the problem?

Please check the below points

- Are there any long running locks in NWA? An example of a thread related to NWA locks below

Communication Channel Problem

- Are there any queues where the worker threads are fully used? You can check the queues at the following location

RWB -> Component Monitoring -> Adapter Engine -> Engine Status -> Additional Data
