Solution manager CHARM workflow.

I have configured workflow using http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d06db8e2-5036-2c10-1a97-dee1364fcec8?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true.

On testing part, when i am creating change request, it is just generating plain reminder mails.

How can i configure to custoimized mail texts.?

How can i generate work items? Noa pproval are generated.

Am i missing some thing. Please help me.

Have you checked this blog

it will help you to customize the smartform and you can create you own action incase of additional text as required

thanks...i will follow this..

now it is sending plain notification reminder mails.

For approvals/ workitems generation,

BUS2000116 -REQUESTTOBEAPPROVED It triggere standard approval workflow

But above event is not triggering when i am creating change requests.

Is CHARM requires organisational hiearchy mainatined with businees partners.?

I am creating just change request and ssigning business partners to then such as requester change managers.

I have crated business partner by BP tcode.

Problem is approval workflow is not trggered Event REQUESTTO BEAPPROVED is not trggereing.

change manage enters his name and then click on action button choose the action for approving or rejected

further the press the save buton..

this will change the status to approved and correction document is created

are doing the above process ??????????

my aim is that user creates a CR, it goes to change manager mentioned in CR business partners. workflow is triggered and it goes to change manager process work item.

for triggering workflow, REQUESTTOBEAPPROVED event should triggered.

I have copied existing CR from CRM_DNO_MONITOR and save that.

Could you please correct process or suugest for triggering workflow.

process is when a cr is created it goes to group called CAB or change advisory board this group can be determined like you do for service team determination in support message

out of this group normally one enter his name and approves the CR

you can check blog series for charm workexamples are given clearly

chk this blog series by dolores it will clear ur basic concepts also
