Hello,

As far as i experienced the old-skull built-in map that comes with Crystal Reports Design 2008 support locations on country and city level not street,postal code,coordinates level, is this true ? Can someone confirm this ?

My other question is how possible integrating Google maps as a flash object into CR Design 2008 ? When i make research for that, i find one company with limited information for CR Design 2008 support.

Anyone had any experience with this tool ? This company monopol in this sector, no any other free alternative to integrate Google maps into CR Design 2008 ? I couldn't find anything else other than this company in my searchs.

I would be happy if you share your thoughts about my inquries.

Why don't you make a suggestion [Crystal Reports Idea Place|https://ideas.sap.com/community/products_and_solutions/crystalreports] to add Google Maps integration or something simular.

Thanks but i was not aware of such place even, and actually i don't have lux of having this feature on upcoming releases unfortunately.I need solution for the current available version.If it is not possible anyhow with the current version, i will tell customer that it is not possible since not supported by SAP product.

Make suggestion. It may not be available today, but it could happen to CR 2008 if you request it.

Yes, but current available version not supports geographical map integration on lat/lot level for sure ? Can you confirm this ? CR itself very new for me thats why i cant be so sure about it myself. Thanks.

Have you used the Map Expert to see if it will do what you want?

I tried but the map that inserted by Map Expert showing only country and city not zoom in street level like Google Maps.

Then I suggest is be patient and see if a SAP person jumps in here to clarify issue. My best guess is no.

There are several SAP people that assist on occasion along with many very experienced crystal users.

hello all,

you can put a zip code layer into a map in the maps which are native to cr. the bad news is that these granular levels have to be purchased as an additional layer. this is a third party product.

you can find out more about this mapping component ("map info") by visiting:

or you may wish to look into the following for mapping alternatives:

www.esri.com/ (on the initial screen when you open up crystal reports you can go to the "downloads" tab and get this add-on.

www.CentigonSolutions.com (a flash based google maps plug-in for cr)
