Background Processig of Workitem

Hello Gurus,

As per our requirement I am using Step Activity in which i used Customized method to fetch the Employee and I maintained Agent Assignment as General,it works fine but we need to set it as Background task instead of every time Agent has to exectute it in their inbox.

Plz assit me how to set it as backgruond job after maintianing Agent Assignmnet.

Hi,

To make the Task as back ground, no need of agent assignment, Just select the check box Background processing in the task.

That will do your job.

Yes Deva,

But I click on Change mode in task the Background task is Disable mode,how can we enable it after the agent assigment.

Hi,

Can u tell which task you are using. Because for certain tasks The Background processing will be disabled. If it is a Decision tasks. Only methods like update or delete and some data extraction methods can run on background. Not all methods. So tell the scenario and the task number.

Hi,

I solved this issue.

I have unchecked the Dilog box in cusom method in my BO,after unchecking it I am able to enable Backgrond processing in S.Task.
