WID using XLS Possible?

Of course it is. Who knows how to do it correctly? I've uploaded my simple WID file to BOXI R3 and I have the XLS file as well... but I'm not sure how to force the source file on the WID report to point to the XLS file in the same folder. It is still pointing to the XLS on my local drive which will obvi not work.

Any kind of help is greatly appreciated.

When you publish a webi report in the BOBJ server, which uses a local Excel file, then the data are stored in the report but the reference to the Excel file is not available anymore.

What you can try is to build a universe on top of the excel file (using eg. an ODBC connection). You have to setup the ODBC driver on the BOBJ server in order to get this to work.

Regards,

Stratos
