ADS Configuration error

Hi,

When iam trying the ADS configuration : http://192.164.10.61:50100/AdobeDocumentServices/Config

the test is working fine.

Im sm59 rfcs are working fine.

When I am checking for test to run

For Report :FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE ---without destination service its working fine.

For Report :FP_PDF_TEST_00 -

Its working fine.

For Report : FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE ---with destination service getting error :SYSTEM ERROR:com.adobe.ProcessingException

For Report : FP_TEST_00 --- Getting error :ADS:com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101)

How to proceed for to solve this,guide me for same.Is it compusory to apply credentials for this.

Hi,

Go to the Visual Admin.

in the services ~~- >> destination~~->> make sure you add your HTTP destination.

also check with your ABAP connection and user name and password.

Hi Harshit,

ADS is not supported for some OS.

Pls check with the SAP whether it is supporting for your OS and proceed further.

we faced a similar kind of issue.

Thanks, i cheked the -- services ~~- >> destination~~->> HTTP destination,now all are working fine.

one more thing any additional ADS license i have to apply to use ads services.how to proceed for the same

Hi,

No need to deploy any additional license for using ADS service.

Just you have to deploy Credentail provided by SAP for use Adobe Interactive Forms in their WebDynpro Applications .

Hi ,

Please perform below steps.......................

1. Create RFC (ABAP system side) destination through SM59 called as ADS which should of type G

u2022 RFC Destination : ADS

u2022 Connection Type : G(HTTP Connection to External services)

u2022 Destination 1 : ADS connection to SID (Java system)

Target System settings:

u2022 Target HOST : JAVA system Host

u2022 Port : java system port

u2022 Path prefix : this defaults(/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=rpc)

2. Login to Visual Administration

Navigate to Server ...>Services  Destinations and select HTTP drop down.

Create the RFC destination as FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>.

Destination Name: FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>

Destination Type: HTTP

Connection settings:

u2022 URL :http://<hostname>:<ABAP-portno>

u2022 system Id :--NIL

u2022 client : ABAP system client no(200 or 300)

u2022 Language :--NIL

Logon Data:

u2022 Authentication: BASIC

BASIS Authentication:

u2022 Username:ADS_AGENT

u2022 Password:xxxxx

Hi,

I am also faced this problem, when i am testing the destination service FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE with out check box connection to ADS its working fine.

with check box its will show the error in ICF.

Solution:

1. Check the ADSUSER and ADS_AGENT users on both ABAP+JAVA systems.

2. Check it is in locked mode or not.

3. check the passwords

4. Go NWA ....infrastructure....destinations...HTTP connections.

5. Check the connections ADS and FP_ICF_DATA_XXX

6.Check the URL status... on my case i used the http://FQDN:8000/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp

Actually this is the right one .. and ping destinations service is success full.

But i am testing the connection from ABAP to java shows sap/bc/error.

So i removed the /sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp

ping test shows the returned code 404.

As per the standard SAP NOTE returned codes 403,404,405 are ignored.

This is valid for NW7.1X and higher.

Now my ADS connection is working fine.
