SICF service - error code 404

When I am trying to test the service iin SICF it prompt the following error, but the service already acivated. Can anyone help me how to resolve this issue. Service already activated, but while testing I am having issue

What has happened?

URL http://<host>:8000/sap/bc/solman/defaultuser/graphic call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

The termination occurred in system <SID> with error code 404 and for the reason No Extension Found.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

Srinivas,

Is ITS configured on your system? if not do the following....

Check if you have activated:

1) With transaction SICF and locate the services by path

/sap/public/bc/its/mimes

/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui

2)With Transaction SE80 locate from the menu, Utilities u2013> Settingsu2013>Internet Transaction Server (Tab)u2013>Publish (Tab) and set u201COn Selected

Siteu201D = INTERNAL.

This restricts the publication in the next step to the integrated (internal) ITS.

3)In SE80 only, Locate the Internet Services: SYSTEM and WEBGUI.

Publish these services with the Context Menu -> Publish -> Complete Service

Please also check the parameter icm/host_name_full, icm/server_port_<xx> has been set properly in instance profile.

Hi Srinivas,

Have you tried to test this service in SICF ?

In SICF, right click on the service and click on test service and let us know the result.

Hi,

we are facing a similar issue. We created a custom address application for Trinidad ( copy of the US address application). I created an iview and page for the application. When i preview the iview i get the below error -

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://host/sap.com/home_esstri~addr call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

The termination occurred in system DV2 with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

I was having the same issue which was resolved by activating webcuif service in tcode sicf

/default_host/sap/webcuif

Please note i have facing the same issue. Kindly help me figure out how resolve the issue. When i checked in debugging found that ~transaction parameter is missing. How to maintain these parameters?

Same / similar problem being encountered, and wondering what the solution was.

Activating webcuif makes no sense here, as for me I get this error when trying to run a standard BW web template in the portal, not anything to do with CRM Interaction Center.

I can run the BW Template using a URL iview, but not the standard web application iview.

When I'm trying to connect from sap gateway for Microsoft through visual studio to sync data from SAP ERP to Microsoft , connection interrupted with this Error : ICF-NF-HTTP as attached screen shot instead of URL service is running on ERP server , so kindly advise me with the cause of this issue.

go to transaction SICF, and active service default_host/sap/bc/srt/wsdl.
