Seagate Crystal reports 8 Developer Edition Needed for application migration

We have an application which is using crystal reports 8. it is installed in windows 2003.

now we are migrating the application to windows 2016 Server. But unfortunately we don't have Crystal reports 8 repository/License for installing in new server.

the budget for the project is very stringent so we will not be able to rewrite the reports.

hence we are looking for a compatible or old Crystal report 8 software. Any suggestion/Guidelines will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, Crystal 8 has been out of support for at least 18-19 years. SAP does not have any copies of it and does not provide licensing for it.

You might be able to find a copy of it on eBay but, because Crystal 8 went out of support long before Win 2016 server was even thought of, there is no guarantee that it will even run on that platform. I know that Crystal 10 has issues on the newer OSs, so I'm pretty sure that Crystal 8 will as well. Also, the SDK did not come with the regular edition of Crystal 8, you had to get the Developer Edition to get the SDK.
