Load Failure

Hi,

We have a daily load , which is loadign through a process chain.

Sometimes its successful, but sometimes its failing saying that Update rules are not finished yet.

What action we can take inthis case.

Please suggest.

Hi,

Check any routines in Update RUles, some times if the memory resource is not available then it will becomes like that, check correct message in RSMO. You can delete the request in Cube/ODS and then load manually from PSA.

We are doing the loading from PSA and fixing the error.My problem is how to eliminate this error to occur again and again.

Hi,

These types of error occur in loading the requests if the update rules are taking long time to finish and the system is not able to allocate the loading processes to the load.

The solutions to these problem are:

1. Improving performance of the update rules.

2. Reducing the data package size.

3. Allocating more background process to the BW system (This can also be taken care by running the load when the system is free, in night, when no other loading is taking place. Selecting option, PSA & Then into data target in InfoPackage).

Hi,

It seems that your update rule is not performance optimized and taking lot of time to process the idocs.

What other message your get regarding this error. Does it ever turn green or permanantly remain RED.
