I have installed netweaver software i need to configure browser settings, How do i do that

for access ing portal through portal

Hi,

There is no specific browser setting. If there are any issues, then you can always edit the settings. By default, general settings of browser should work. Access portal using

http://hostname:port/irj/portal

Replace hostname (host of server) and port number (like 50000 or 50100)

If there are any specific issues, post back.

Hi,

Make a enty in the host file of your desktop. Make sure that you have maintained the fqdn for your portal server.

Then access usin http://fqdn:5xx00/irj/portal

I tried those settings however it dint work dont know why ?

Hi,

Are you sure the server is running? Open SAP MMC console from server and check if all server instances are green. If so, mention what particular error it is showing on the browser when you are opening portal.

Hi Madhu,

Can you change browser settings in internet Explorer. Try once i hope only that is the mistake. because you already change the portal browser setting.

Tool -> internet options -> security -> customing

here you need to change the settings from internet Explorer

if it is work please give me points

I installed the netweaver software and and activated the server
