Question Re: ADS Configuration in Technology Q&A

1) yes

2) The certs are not needed for ADS to work. As far as i know, they are needed, if you plan to use <DEL>interactive forms</DEL> ADS over ssl. In this case you will need to put a certificate there.

Regards

Michael

EDIT: sorry, i implemented ADS with interactive forms with ssl and mixed the two things up, see the answer below. Thanks for correcting me.

Hello,

I am trying to configure ADS for a portal (EP 7.0). It is a standalone java stack. I have a few questions:

1. Is it possible to configure ADS for a standalone java?

2. According to the installation document i am creating an ADSCerts view in keystorage. Do i need to create entries for it as well?

Regards,

Sridevi
