Edit Reference App data from backend

Hello folks,

I need to run an end-to-end demo scenario with a backend system, SAP Cloud Connector and a SAPUI5 application deployed in SAP Cloud Platform.

My goal is to consume the Reference App service EPM_REF_APPS_SHOP from SAP Cloud Platform and update a product price from the backend and see the new price reflected in the application.

What I need to know is how to edit this price from the backend, I don't have expirience with Netweaver so I don't know what is the TR code or program to run in order to achieve this.

Systems information:

1. SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.51 SP2 [Developer Edition]

2. SAP HANA Cloud Connector 2.10.0.1

3. SAP Cloud Platform with SAPUI5 application

Hello all,

I managed to change the price by doing the following:

1. Assign role SAP_BC_EPM_DEMO from TRCode SU01 to the specific user.

2. Once you go back to the user menu, refresh the window and you will be able to see a new entry under User Menu called EPM Demo Applications. The application to change backend data its SEPM_PD - Products (Classic Dynpro)

3. Open the application and search by ProductID, you can get this easily from the UI. Edit price and hit Save.
