It should be mostly due to MPI buffer or ICM connection exhaustion . You can trace the ICM load

Traffic Control Violation

Hi,

First post here. Would appreciate some feedback on below.

We've recently seen the message "Traffic Control Violation" on our handheld computers running Wavelink Industrial Browser against ITSMobile. It occurs in majority of devices sometimes and once in a while for a few at the same time.

I work only with the hardware in question so it is hard for me to know if this might be related to any SAP components.

Could the message attached be related to components such as Web Dispatchers, ITSMobile or similar?

See the attached picture for reference. Any help would be helpful.

Regards

Joakim

Hi Joakim,

You can check in dev_webdisp (if you use the SAP Web Dispatcher) or dev_icm (for the ICM) for error messages.

I don't recall an ITSmobile related message like this.

Kind regards,

Cris

Hi All,

Even I got the same error on my SAP PO 7.5 DEV box. All of a sudden since morning I get "Traffic Violation Error" on the Primary App server while it works just fine on the Secondary App server.

Regards

Prateek

All of a sudden since morning I get "Traffic Violation Error" on the Primary App server while it works just fine on the Secondary App server.

I did check the dev_icm, dev_icm_sec & dev_server0 logs the only thing odd was the failure in Garbage Collection. I did a restart of the system since then at least the error is gone but the root cause is not yet known.

Regards

Prateek
