Active User List blank Valid from

Hi Guys,

In the active user List in SAP, against some users the field valid from is empty, but they are in my active list.

Can someone please explain what this signifies as they are active users but do not have a valid from date against the user Ids.

Dear Rohan,

Based on your description I do not know exactly what type system is yours (ABAP, Java, dual stack) but it is not so important right now.

The field "Valid from" or "Start Date of Account Validity" refers to an option when you create a user to be active immediately or not. If the value is empty it means the user account will be active immediately after it has been created. In case you specifiy an exact date you can specify the date from which the account should be valid.
