B2B add-on EDIFACT

Hello expert,

our company already installed B2B addon component in SAP PO 7.31, and I'm trying to implement the first scenario with EDIFACT message.

Our scenario is: Purchase order IDoc -> SAP PI with SFTP ADAPTER -> SAP PI EDIFACT content converter -> customer

For EDIFACT, I guess the EDI release number of Purchase order should be EDI 850. I looked into B2B Content manager and try to find out the pre-defined message type for EDI 850, I suppose I will find it out and export the corresponding XSD and load it into PI mapping to conver the IDoc to EDIFACT flat file.

But unfortunately, I find nothing in B2B Content manager.

My question now is that, is SAP supposed to provide some standard EDIFACT message types which we can simply use it for message format convert? Or should we create all from scratch to define the EDIFACT message structure in B2B Content manager?

Hi,

maybe you didn't install all needed B2B content. The PIB2BCONTENT contains the relevant data for EDIFACT, EANCOM, TRADACOMS in different files. After you have imported the files you should be able to create the corresponding XSD.
