Data Transfer to BW

Hi All

I want To Load Data From R3 to BW .,in the sense Automatically DATA HAS TO TRASFER to BW.We had Created Process cahins in BW Production Server.

What Setting i have to do In<b> R3 side</b>.Please update me on this.

Hi,

Based on the Update mode(Queued/unserialized..etc) -->u have to schedule and run the collective job by selecting periodocity (Hourly/daily...etc)

Once u done this.. in BW > U can Schedule the chain in start process

Hi..

• Go to Transaction LBWE.

• Data source Purchasing2lis_02_hdr

• Under job control, deactivate update

• Go to transaction SE11,edit structure MCEKKO append structure and add a Field.( ZZBT13WE ).

• Go to transaction LBWG, delete contents of setup table for application component 02.

• Go to delta queue( Transaction RSA7) delete if delta queue exists.

• Go to Transaction LBWE, edit maintenance for

2lis_02_hdr, add a field( ZZBT13WE) and save it.

• Edit data source 2lis_02_hdr, and uncheck check boxes for HIDE and FLDONLY.

• Under job control, Activate update

• Go to transaction OLI3BW, and run statistical update.(It fills the setup table).

Hi Hari,

Where did you get this canned resposnse from? He is not asking for a specific datasource or how to add a field to it...

Hi....did you activate your datasrouces in R3 and create all you r objects in BW?

Hi all,

Based on R/3 table EKPO and Field Name EBELN I need to load data to BI. My question is how can I find which Extractor are using by this R/3 table/field and how can I verify if these extractor are already existed BW system and if it is existed in BW how do I know where that extrator sending the data in BW. I will really apreciate if you provide me step by step procedure to fill this GAP .

Hi Friend

for this u just do one thing, In R/3 side select the DIRECT UPDATE MODE then u can get data directly from R/3 source system to BW System.

Hi All

Sorry For Late Response..

i am Little bit confused abt your answers.i am not going to do any enhancement.

I want to transfer Data fro R3 to BW in regular Basis.

What i Did in R3 side:

In LBWE i had selected MODE : Direct Update

DataSources are in Active.

Deleted Setup Tables,Filled SetupTables

In Job control I Selected Immidiate.

Job Parameters LP01. After that Both TURNED in TO GREEN.

But Unfortunately ,When i check After Some time .In Job Control the Settign are Changing in to RED .

Pls help me

Hi Bhanu,

I hope you can help me. I am trying to find R/3 Extractor based on Table- EKKO, EKPO, EKKN, EKBE and associated Fields- BURKS, LOEKZ, ANLN2, WRBTR.

How can I search which extractor is used by above Table/fields. I would really apreciate if you provide me step by step process.
