Hello All,

Can any one please tell me what is EBP, as our customer is aking for EBP.

As I am not aware of this I request you to please tell what is it and how to activate it in SRM.

SAP EBP is an Internet-based procurement system that has been tailored specifically for the purchase of consumable materials in the public sector. But it also enables you to procure stock material.

I am using SRM 5.0,Could you please tell me exactly which doc.. I should refer.

Hello Sekhar,

I have just completed with the EBP configuration on SRM.

You have to follow a list of defined steps on SRM system for the full EBP Configuration from Basis point of view, which are as follows :-

1> Maintain RFC Destinations with Backend systems

2> Configure the Logical Systems

3> Assign client to Logical System

4> Maintain Web Server in Table TWPURLSVR

5> Publish Enterprise Buyer Services to ITS

6> Setup Attachments

7> Create a Distribution Model to for sending IDocs between SRM and Backend system

● Add messages types ACC_GOODS_MOVEMENT and MGBMCR

● Generate Partner Profiles for each backend system and Enable Immediate IDOC transfer

8> Check model distributed in above step in Backend system. Create a Distribution Model to for sending IDocs between Backend system and SRM system and generate partner profiles

9> Define ECC 6 as Backend System and SRM as Local System - Define Backend system

10> Set Control Parameters that facilitate the communication to Backend system - Set Control parameters

11> Setting for setting communication between Middleware and ECC

● Setup RFC User.

● Maintain SMOFPARSFA

● Maintain CRMRFCPAR

● Maintain CRM OLTP Parameters

● Set up technical connection between Middleware and ECC system

● Setting up Sites

● Maintain Table TBE31 in ECC

● Maintain Table TBE11 in ECC
