quary wiht restricted kf problem

Hi gurus,

in my row i have Product characteristic,

in my column i have Sales Quantity key figure.

i want to visualise this table for posting periods between 06.2006 and 12.2007.

i restricted my kf 2 times.

in first restriction

Fiscal Year :2006

Posting Period : [6-12]

in second restriction

Fiscal Period :2007

Posting periiods: [1-12]

the screen i got is like this ;

means i can't input, * means input-ready area.

i don't need and i don't want to see first 6 months of 2006. And i also restricted posting period (6-12) for 2006.

Why it shows me first 6 month of 2006 ?

Is this a general problem?

Hello Hayrettin your selection means in overall like this: I want to see year 2006 and year 2007 and periods from 1 to 12.

Your mistake is your second selection regarding to year 2007 is overlapped on previous period selection of (6-12)

I recommend you create a copy of Sales Quantity and restrict them independantly.

Hi,

Instead of giving months in range for 2006 , did you try to pull months one by one say selecting 1....6 individually for 2006 and try executing the query.

i have already done what u said.

i copied the Sales Quantity. For the first one i restricted 2006 and for the second i restricted 2007. I didn't restricred just one kf.

"kayıt dönemi" means posting period

"mali yıl" means fiscal year

Hello Hayrettin,

It seems that you did right things but the problem might be because of 'değer tipi' characteristics. In 2006 it's tahmin and 2007 it's Fiili.

thanks, but i have to use those characteristics. "deger tipi" is value type. and for 2006 it's actual, for 2007 it's estimate.
