SAP Web Application Server User name

Hi,

I am doing HTTP to RFC scenario. I am sending the payload from the client HTTP adapter. When I click on the send, Its asking for SAP Web Application Server user name and pasword. I gave user name as XISUPER and passowrd, Its not accepting . What is the user name I have to give here ?

hey

you can use any user,just make sure that the user has the following authorization

SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER on Integration Server.

Hey

If i m not wrong XISUPER has all the authorizations,but please cross check once more in SU01 for the required authorization i mentioned in my earlier reply,also make sure that the password is correct and you are using correct parameters in the HTTP test client.

I gave XIAFUSER which has SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER authorization role in IS.

Hey

make sure that user XIAFUSER is not locked in SU01,also are u using the test tab in RWB or ur using the HTTP client tool to send the messages.

XIAFUSER is not locked and I have tried tried both (RWB and using HTTP client tool). But getting the same error

Ur username should be XIAPPLUSER with role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER

Make sure tht port is 8xxx and not 5xxxx

If u want to provide a one time entry, try this

SICF -> sap/xi/adapter_plain -> Change Button and enter client, username, password, and language.

I followed the path you mentioned

But all the fields are disabled, how to activate that ?

Do I have to do the entry using SAP* or XISUPER
