Hello,

From what I know the Department is assigned to Employees. That can be done in transaction BBPUM01. Search the employee you want and click the u2018Assignu2019 button.

There youu2019ll have the Department and Position to choose from. The Department can be an Organizational Unit you have set in the Organizational Structure. Use transaction PPOMA_BBP if you need to update Organizational Structure.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

José Omar

Hello experts,

In SRM where can we change the department field of a purchase organization? We can see the department field in transaction BP in the "relationships" and then in "Employee Relationship Display: Adress Overview" but we don't know how to change't.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

GIF+

Hello,

Yes, the Department is an Organizational Unit. You create an Org Unit in transaction PPOMA_BBP. There you can enter its name, address and set its attributes.

In transaction BBPUM01 you associate the employee with the department (Org Unit) you previously created.

I believe we can also associate employee and department in PPOMA_BBP, but I find it easier to do it form BBPUM01.

Regards,

José Omar
