Hi friends,

What are the roles that has to have a Bidder in SRM 7.0 and Portal to generate bids.

Hi,

There is role /SAPSRM/BIDDER.

You can check the role in PFCG transaction.

Hi Massa,

I am using that role /SAPSRM/BIDDER in SRM and Portal roles Bidder and RFx Respondent in EP.

But when bidder opens an RFX it is getting the following error message: "User is not authorized for the action"

I am solving the problem adding the following role to the bidder:

SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR

Is it happening to you also? is it a way to do not need to use other roles?

Hi,

You can find missing authorization in ST01 authorization trace. Also check the transaction SU53.

Note 1411331 - Certain buttons not displayed in eRFx selected using POWL

Note 1394193 - All the buttons displayed in RFx when selected using POWL

Note 1151053 - Invalid authorization error is displayed to the userSymptom

During RFx creation even though user has permissions to create a new document system throws a error message:"User is not authorized for the action".Other terms

Authorization Checks, Bid Invitation, RFx, Not Authorized for the Action.

Reason and Prerequisites

This error is caused by a program error.

Solution

Please implement the below specified correction instruction or apply the relevant Support Package to fix the issue.

Hi All,

We are facing the same issue. The issue is still there even when the bidder is given SAP_ALL

Note no. 1151053 seems to be the exact solution for the problem. However, the note applies to SRM 6.0, and the correction is already a part of SRM 7.0

We have raised a message for the same. Please let me know if you have got the issue resolved.
