Hello ,

Im new to SAP Ariba, can someone please explain to me how the flow of integrating ariba sourcing with SAP ECC via CIG works

Ps: awarding will take place in Ariba, and creating PO/contract in ERP system

Hello Salma,

This is how the Ariba sourcing flow works:
Buyers are required to create RFQ (Request for Quotation) in SAP ECC/S4HANA and the information will be sent to Ariba Sourcing through CIG. In Ariba sourcing, Sourcing request will be created based on the information available in QuoteRequest. Then, Suppliers are invited to participate in the bidding and present their quotation. The bidding will be opened for a specific time window and it will be awarded as Purchase Order or Purchasing Contract(Outline agreement) by Sourcing master.

What if we awarded multiple suppliers, does that mean we will have multiple POs/Contracts . How will the integration work in this case

How about if we are not using CIG and Ariba Network? is this still possible? How do we do it? Appreciate your help
