SAP Sourcing/CLM: Scheduled Tasks Last Run

Does anyone know how to check the Last Run of scheduled tasks?

Hello Laura,

Yes you can check in Schedule task itself.

Please see the below image

Based on the frequency which you set in task you can easily find out when it has been scheduled last time.

For example, In above task the job is scheduled every day so obviously last run time is that days scheduled time if it passes by

Thank you very much for your quick reply Raj.

Fair enough, we can assume that if a job is scheduled every day at 13 PM and at 17 PM already says that next run will be tomorrow, the job has been executed.

What happen with the logs? I mean, is there any way to know if the execution of the log has been successful or has triggered any error?

Hello Laura,

If the schedule task is for Explicitly called script you can log all the details in scripting and with that you can check last run as well.

But for other types of scheduled tasks also if there is any error, it will be captured in NWA logs.

And you can check in background task status as well where every error regarding schedule tasks will be captured

Some additional info:

For any scheduled task type you will have a default log entry of type ODP_ALARM
- Daemon-0016: ODP_ALARM-Tue_Jun_09_10:18:54_UTC_2015 (0) odp_alarm #system# daemon Triggered Daemon Event: Event=ODP_EVENT_CALLABLE_SCRIPT_EXECUTION SubType=1 Owner=-2147480648:10502:Background Email Processor [Application Time: Tue Jun 09 14:51:01 UTC 2015]

In some rare cases you might find that scheduled tasks are not executing at all (Next Run Time in the past)
- Pending Daemon Events report will show if any daemons are stuck, and has the option to cancel the execution
