SAP Sourcing contract generator service is not working

Hello All,

We have upgraded SAP sourcing 7.0 to 10.0 and net weaver from 7.0 to 7.3 EHP1. In configuration part i am done with everything provided in configuration doc except one thing that is : i am not able to save and make microsoft add-in (fci-variable -schema) active in word options in MS word.

So now when i am trying to generate a new contract, i am getting the error below:

There is a problem with contract generation web service.Contact your system administrator.

What updates did you do to the contract generation server? I'm sure there is a new contract generation installation for version 10. Did you upgrade the OS or Word ? Keep in mind in version 10 you could eliminate the wordservice altogether by converting the content to docx and use the native functionality that is now built in.

Hello Gary,

I followed the configuration doc for sourcing 10 , installed the latest wordservice and upgraded MS word also from 2007 to 2010 as a sourcing 10.0 requirement.
