Approve Substitution

Hello,

I have a question about "Approve Substitution".

In SAP standard function, approver can set anyone asignee including who doesn't have authorization of manager.

I want to controle that not assign to who doesn't have authorization of manager.

How I can do this?

About "Forward" function, configuration of Task Maintain(PFTC) work for that.

*setting agent assignment

But it seems that this configuration doesn't work for "Approve Substitution"

If you are talking about Subsitute in SRM UWL/Inbox, check out badi WF_SUBSTITUTE, method MAINTAIN_SUBSITUTE. Here you can implement some checks on the substitution.

However if you are talking about Forward button, i am not aware of any checks that can be implemented.

I appreciate your support.

I talked about "Subsitute in SRM UWL/Inbox"

I understood that it cannot control only SAP standard customize and if we need control that we have to develop "badi WF_SUBSTITUTE".

This is important information for us to discuss with our client.
